A total data head, Monica identifies as a content creator who specializes in data, analytics and research. She loves nothing more than telling the stories behind the data. She also loves exploring how the past connects with the present and runs the website 505Colors.com, where she breaks down the history and heritage of color... Prior to founding Sounding Line and 505 Colors, Monica coordinated the marketing, research and public relations efforts for the American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association (AIANTA). She remains committed to helping Indigenous people and the entire BIPOC community tell their stories and expand their economic opportunities.
Monica also served as a contributing editor at TravelPulse.com and TravelAgeWest.com, two of the nation’s leading travel industry B2B websites. During her time as a travel writer and editor, she was fortunate enough to travel the world and interact with people on a global level. In the Myers-Briggs assessment, Monica is an ENFP-A, (Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling and Perceptive), a personality type which is labeled a campaigner and a diplomat. She is also a budding artist, and in her free time she is a member of two bookmaking groups, Libros Albuquerque and Santa Fe Book Arts Guild.
